Sam (
kavalier) and I have completed some exhaustive Mac vs PC, Photoshop Elements vs Photoshop CS4 vs PaintshopPro research and have discovered something about colour profiles. The following information is super important for PC icon makers to keep in mind, since you won't be able to see when something comes out with a messed up colour profile, but those on macs will be able to see it.
**NOTE** MacBook OS X Leopard is what Sam is using. According to
splott, her MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard doesn't show a difference.
As far as we can tell, none of these problems come into play using Paintshop Pro!

PROMPT: Sherlock steps into the looking glass - and his counter part steps out. Now, trapped in his glass prison, he has to watch through mirrors and windows and reflective surfaces as this "new" Sherlock wins everyone over with his charm. Everyone, that is, except John (and Mycroft of course)...
( invaders must die. )
PROMPT: Moriarty/Moran; Sebastian is the calm to Jim's storm
( rulers make bad lovers; you'd better put your kingdom up for sale. )
PROMPT: Sally really did scrub Anderson's floors, and if Sherlock had gotten a look at Anderson's knees, he'd have seen them in a state as well. Anderson has severe OCD that he's been trying to get under control, but the night before ASiP, he had a terrible relapse/panic attack and Sally came over (or was already there for some platonic reason) to help him clean the house and make sure he didn't do anything damaging to himself in his panic.
( everything's gonna be all right. )
PROMPT: Moriarty creates a duplicate (clone, robot, whatever) of Sherlock to play with. Thinking it's the real Sherlock, it escapes & tries to find John. Could be crack or serious angst.
( shattered illusions of love. )

( pick up the pieces and go home. )
PROMPT: John is stuck in two worlds, one where the relives 'TGG' over and over again, and the other where it's set months after, and Sherlock is dead. He has to choose what world to live in.
( stuck. )
PROMPT: Molly performs an autopsy on Sherlock. While he's still alive.
( sherlock knows how to show a girl a good time. )
PROMPT: Visceral Mycroft torture. I want to taste the drying blood and smell the dirt ground into his sweating, quivering skin. Hear the sounds he makes as he's stretched out on a table and abused. Doctoring afterward is would be greatly appreciated but not necessary.
( he's in a wooden lift. )

( this cell is not made for thinking. )
PROMPT: Anderson has a blog too, in which he writes up his own, significantly less laudatory versions of cases in which Sherlock is involved. He also writes about other subjects that interest him

PROMPT: Sherlock has been kidnapped by Moriarty and brutally tortured. After several months, Mycroft's men finally find him... alive but broken. He doesn't speak anymore and acts like a child. Mycroft wants to put him in a mental institution but John insists on taking care of him.
( months without sherlock were not good to john. )
PROMPT: So somehow Sherlock gets himself taken hostage or perhaps just injured and left to die somewhere. It's all done by two-bit thugs, Moriarty knows about it but figures Mycroft or John will come by to save him soon. The thing is, they don't. For whatever reason they don't figure it out and Moriarty realizes time is running out. This isn't how Sherlock Holmes, his arch-nemesis is going to die; it can't be. Moriarty has way too much planned for their futures. So, Jim Moriarty has to intercede and save him.
( the real eastenders. )
PROMPT: An epilogue to 001 (originally written as a standalone), which must be read first or this one won't make much sense. Or maybe it will, your call.
( where he belongs. )
PROMPT: Someone (Mummy Holmes? Sherlock?) is going senile. They feel it happening and they hate those moments, those days, when they panic the people around them when they forget their names, mistake them for others, or when they catch people off guard and bring up people or places or occurrences long past dead or gone. I've read a bit of this from outside perspective, and I could read that again. But what about a rendition that takes the paradigm of the 'forgetter', rather than the 'forgotten'.
( over it all, he still watches. )
PROMPT: Sherlock has suicidal ideation, and thinks about suicide and ways he could kill himself often. He knows he'll never actually do it, but it dominates his thoughts. It's worse when he's bored. (Maybe Mycroft tried to get some help for it when they were younger, and Sherlock absolutely refused). John finds out about it and instead of reacting with shock or pity, is just very matter-of-fact about whole thing. It's something Sherlock never thought could happen: John listens to Sherlock when he wants to talk about it, and laughs at his dark jokes, and somewhere makes it better just by being there.
